About The Designer
Film, music and fashion are the things that keep me busy and today I still find myself not being able to decide which I like most, so combining them is essential to me. Making clothes has always been in my nature. I have been cutting and sewing for as long as I can remember, for everyone from dolls to school friends. Unsurprisingly I went on to study design in Milan, a city which teaches you eternal style just by walking its streets. From Milan I moved to London and worked in the City, where power dressing completely fascinated me: I wanted a female version of everything that men wore, but this was easier said than done. In addition, I was frustrated by never finding what I wanted to wear for certain occasions.
As a result I started making my own range of womenswear, specialising in suits and shirts. I focused on combining the craftsmanship of the ever-evolving Italian technology with the traditional techniques of our Savile Row tailors here in London. Soon I had men asking where I bought my garments, which was very surprising— normally you would expect only women to ask such direct questions.
I had found a unique style that encapsulated both the Italian love of rich colours, quality and class and the iconic British cuts. It gained a lot of attention, and very soon after AG Bespoke Couture was born, launching a beautifully-cut bespoke shirt collection for men and a ready-to-wear shirt collection for women. We first focused on perfecting the cut for the modern man and soon found ourselves dressing sports personalities, as they have the biggest problems with the today’s standard sizes.
We always aim to offer timeless iconic pieces with recognisable differences that make them stand out from the rest. Our unique patterns and cuts truly emphasise what makes this company different.
I hope you will enjoy each item as much as I enjoyed creating them.
